Mid term break is upon us already and another chance to get out of Rome for a few days. A city at the heart of the renaissance was Florence, it has many amazing architectural and artistic marvels to see. Along with fellow Australian seminarian Andrew and myself ventured north of Rome to explore.
Basilica Santa Maria Novella.
We arrived in Florence on a fast train just before midday and looking at the long que's at the Duomo we decided to check into our accommodation and return to tomorrow where we would have the whole day to explore. We set off in the afternoon to the Basilica Santa Maria Novella.
